    Auto Update In Air App

      Hi guys. I'm interested in building an air app that has the ability to turn off the AIR auto updater. For various reasons our IT department has decided that we would like to turn off AIR auto update.

      I've read the Tech Note on auto-update on the adobe site. I've downloaded and used settings manager, however i've come across a problem. The installation and delivery to a prospective client becomes less of a seamless process. e.g. first you have to install AIR, then you install settings manager to turn off the auto update feature, only then do you install your app.

      So i guess the question is;

      Can we integrate the functionality of the settings manager into our own custom air app?

      Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
