I have a need wherein i need to copy labels on an object onto another object. Now these labels are set up in the IDMS from a server and i can't be sure how many of them would be there or what their name would be. Is there a way to iterate the labels on an object, like we can iterate the properties of an object in JS.
I want to make the code generic so that i don't do extractLabel on a hardcoded set of labels and then set them in the destination object. It should work in a way wherein i don't have to touch the client code even if the server adds new labels or edits/removes the existing ones.
Hmm that's interesting because by default one could use any kind of strings for label keys. So that could lead to a brute force method trying every single character combination one by one to infinity.
So I guess the best method here would be to export item to indesign snippet where labels appear. It would definitively be easier to read them.
He he, I was thinking this was ringing a bell
