Deleting Rejected photos no longer puts them to the Trash folder

I have noticed since the most recent updates that deleting rejected photos no longer moves them to the OS X Trash folder. Has anyone else experienced this issue? It is a concern as we all occasionally make mistakes and now there is no fallback if they don't go to the OS X Trash Folder.

Hi rubberry,

If you delete any file outside the Lightroom, does that go to the trash folder? If yes, then you may try an reset the Lightroom preferences back to defaults and check if that helps. Refer: Preference file and other file locations | Lightroom CC and 6
