I just updated my photoshop CC to 2017 and I cant open any images! They open as black or blank images? I can see them in the layer panel but they don't show on my active panel??
Is there a bug? How do I fix this??! And why can't I revert back to my previous version of Photoshop! @photoshop

Does turning off »Use Graphics Processor« in the Performance Preferences (Photoshop > Preferences > Performance > Graphic Processor Settings) and restarting Photoshop have any bearing on the issue?
What have you done for trouble-shooting so far?
Restoring Preferences after making sure all customized presets like Actions, Patterns, Brushes etc. have been saved might be a good starting point:

Thanks, that seems to of work, although I am getting some error reports from Photoshop and see Adobe have listed issues with the 2017 update and the graphics cards/ bit rate. But it's working for now! Thanks so much!

Turning off »Use Graphics Processor« in the Performance Preferences is no proper solution as it invalidates GPU dependent features (like the Rotate View Tool for example) but it indicates problems with the GPU driver or the OS.
