Hello! All my files have checkered background. How do I change my PDF files' background to clear white background? Thank you very much!

Go to Edit - Preferences - Page Display and tick off "Show transparency grid".

Wow! Thank you very much, whoever you are. I have been try to clear that checkered background for months. I went through every setting and its tabs. I guess I didn't looked through carefully. Anyway, I'm very grateful for your help. Thanks a million!!
