new project whilst transcoding

Hi guys i am transcoding a wedding film in prem pro cs6 through dynamic link encore and all OK but taking lots of time and i need to start a new project quickly now. in cs6.

Question?

Whilst it is transcoding through the prem pro project and dynamic link can i just create a new project in prem pro cs6 and will it still carry on trans coding the exiting trans code. Or will i have to wait till its burnt to dvd disc before i start a new project.

I would leave it transcoding until the dvd is finished.
