Using Illustrator to draw lines for an aircraft texture for the 3D program MAYA. The lines are copied and transferred from Illustrator to PS CS6 where the textures are. Although the lines coming from Illustrator comes across are deep black, once I size them down and "place" the vector lines turns a light grey. Is there a way I can keep the lines deep black?
If the black patch in Illustrator is defined as CMYK colors, it may translate to RGB as a dark gray (depending on profiles used). Make sure all Illustrator patches are defined as RGB, and that the document as a whole is in RGB mode.
Ai's grayscale support leaves a lot to desire, so avoid it. Don't define K values, use RGB 0-0-0 for black.
