    Catching web service exceptions

      Hi,

      I have a Java web service with methods that look something like this:

      public void myMeth() throws MyException
      {
      ...
      }

      I can add a fault handler for this service with: myService.addMyServiceServiceFaultEventListener(fault);

      function fault(o:Object):void
      {
      Alert.show("Webservice call failed: "+o);
      }

      etc.

      However, the fault handler only ever returns a: mx.rpc.events.FaultEvent, rather than MyException object.

      I used the Flex Builder web service importer to generate the stubs, and it has generated a MyException.as stub correctly.

      Can anyone tell me why I never receive a MyException fault?

      Thanks,
      Chris
