how to get digital signature to pass Acrobat's accessibility validation?

Hi - I'm unfamiliar with digital signatures. I need to make a digitally signed PDF compliant. Before adding signature, it passes all of Acrobat's accessibility validation checkpoints. When we add a signature, it causes the validation to fail tagged content because of untagged annotation. But at that point the PDF is locked for further changes.  How can we get the digital signature to pass Acrobat's accessibility validation?  Thanks, Danny
