I have the same problem and the help provided here didn't work. Still getting the errors for both illustrator and Creative Cloud

Sorry that you are having trouble installing your Creative Cloud apps, i would recommend you to try the troubleshooting shared in the following help document: "Failed to install" error received when installing Adobe Creative Cloud desktop app"

Note: Please make sure that you are logged in as an administrator on your computer before installation.

If it still fails try downloading and installing Adobe Creative Cloud desktop app from this direct download link:  Download Creative Cloud desktop app.
