I have invested HOURS and am having the same issues. Today I just tried to Use Acrobat 8 Professional and it says I can't use it at all without opening another Creative Suite Program (which I can't open because of the error.) i can't get any work done. This is so frustrating.

Amyjoy227 what error message is preventing you from opening Photoshop CS3?  You are correct you will not be able to open Acrobat 8 until Photoshop CS3 is launched successfully.  Also what operating system are you utilizing Acrobat 8 and Creative Suite 3 on?
