How are you building your app? Locally or using PGB?
Hey Kerri, so my workflow should be:
- Coding & Bundle in C9.io
- Building in PhoneGap Cloud Build
- Testing in Appetize.io as an emulator
Hope there is a way :-)
Building itself works for both, Android and iOS - so in fact, Android apk works in Appetize, iOS not - because it's build for production, not simulation ...
Thanks for your support
So, AFAIK (could be wrong here), but I don't think there's any way to get a simulator build out of PGB. Although useful for testing changes quickly, it's also not a perfect representation of what happens on-device (especially if you start adding things like push notifications and such), so generally verification tests can only occur on real hardware.
If you need that kind of workflow, though, you could potentially try using a mac in the cloud. I use macincloud, and it comes pretty much set up out-of-the-cloud with Xcode, PhoneGap, etc., and everything you need to generate local simulator builds. Not free, but might be worth pursuing.
OK, thank you for your response!
