Very slow creating pdf files of excel graph

When I try to create a pdf file of a very detailed Excel graph it takes over 15 minutes to create a pdf.  The excel graph contains lines with a large number of data points (150,000 per line).  I have tried to lower the graph resolution but it doesn't seem to make a significant difference.

How exactly are you creating the PDF file? What version of Acrobat do you have? What Office version? What OS?

A lot of information is missing to be able to help you...

Select it as a "printer" within excel.

Windows 10 pro

Microsoft office 365 pro plus

Adobe acrobat distiller XI

Lenovo P70 2.8 Ghz - 64 GB of ram

Try using the PDFMaker plugin (the Acrobat tab in the ribbon), instead.

I couldn't select the "selection" option to create a pdf of the graph.  I selected the cells around the graph then I was allowed to click on "selection" to create pdf.  After a few minutes Excel crashed and  a message came up saying something to the extent that excel was having problems with pdf add-in asking if I wanted to disable it.
