I've installed DW cc 2017 trial version.
I get "The extension can't be installed, it requires Dreamwever 13 or greater". When trying to install JSPSupport_1_0_2.zxp.
Could this be because of some kind of restriction on a trial version? Because the DW is greater than 13.
The trial version is the same as the paid version.
How did you try to install the extension? Have you tried PVII Extension Manager for Adobe Creative Cloud or https://www.dmxzone.com/go/22670/dmxzone-extension-manager-for-dreamweaver/ ?

I don't think that Extension Manager will work with CC 2017. According to their web page, it's only good for older versions of CC 2013, 2014, 2015 which you can't access from a trial membership.

Thank you all for your replies.
So what's the extension manager compatible with cc 2017?

You may be able to install the jsp extension using one of the extension managers linked to in Bens reply. However it will probably not work correctly as the 2017 code editor is now based on the Brackets code editor, and requires a different file format for items such as code completion and hinting.
If you look at the bottom r/h of the document window, you can select the available code languages supported by 2017, which may include jsp, (may not) you can also file a feature request for jsp support by selecting the 'feature request' option in the 'Help' menu.

I currently use this one from DMX Zone. It's free.

A better alternative may be to use IntelliJ IDEA, which supports jsp. You can download a free 90 day trial on their website.
