I have been hammering this over and over with Cap3. I have a
quiz that ends with a score page displaying the student's score on
the quiz. If the student completes with a passing score, the
Continue button should take them to the Passing page. If they fail,
it should take them to the start screen to start the quiz again.
My problem: It does nothing (if I click on it 40 times, it
works occassionally--I find THAT gratifying to do in frustration,
but don't believe my students will even attempt this before they
just close out and tell me how broken the quiz is)
AH HA!!!! I have found the solution to my own problem!
The "Continue" button will not work if the quiz is set to
"Require a passing grade to Continue". Essentially this prevents
the user from moving past the score screen without a passing score
(in reality just about any score won't work). Because, apparently,
CAP3 doesn't remember the score after Review Quiz is selected, the
button again doesn't work in that instance either.
So I changed the quiz requirement to "Must Take the Quiz to
Continue", and the buttons worked like a charm...
