I should add that I am using the latest versions of LR CC and PS CC as part of the photographic suite.
Also, when editing, I am selecting "Edit copy with LR adjustments"
This nusance seems to have just started in the last few days. I may have previously had color labels with some of these images but they were ALL deleted many months ago. No idea what has changed to get this free and unwanted adjustment. It is easy enough to delete the color label but with thousands of images, I do not want this to be the "new norm"
Please help; thanks again

Lightroom and Bridge have a function for adding color labels. Photoshop does not, so that's not where they come from. I'd look in Lightroom, import presets and so on.
I use color labels in Lightroom myself, and if the raw file is labeled it will carry over to the edited RGB version. But I've never seen labels added by themselves.
There are NO LR import resets. The images have been entered into LR and there are NO color labels. It is only after editing in PS and saving back to LR that I now have color labels added to my images. Easy to fix but a pain in the butt.....and TOTALLY new issues. Been using LR/PS for years and this has just started.
