How do I get a paragraph style including an illustration and a text string? I will use it for warning texts in an instruction including a warning sign and the text WARNING! in bold.

As it is in your example it is not possible with a style. You have to use a graphic (best PDF/X4 and AI) and insert it as anchored frame.

Humm! You could create such a font with IndyFont!

Hi Obi
How do you deal with multiple colors within a character?
The "warning" sign could be set with stroke and fill, why not.
But what about the "Info" sign?

Vinny,
T'es un peu petit-joueur sur ce coup-là ! … et je n'ai même pas utilisé IndyFont !…

Hey Obi
Do not overestimate me ^^
It possibly was a basic question and I possibly should feel stupid for asking it.
But I don't care looking stupid, especially when it comes to learning something or improving my skills...
So again, I don't see how it's possible that your warning sign is only one character... (no problem with your info sign here: there's only one color ^^)
I sure can replicate this with 2 characters: a dingbats one used as a custom bullet and an exclamation mark (or a "i"), styled with a Grep or a nested style.
But I can't get the para style to work without typing ! or i (I'm sooo lazy... I don't want to do that!)*
Thanks in advance for filling my lack of knowledge ^^

Vinny,
Je n'ai jamais dit "un seul caractère"!
Merci pour le gif !
Ceci dit, pour "Info" [il n'y a pas de filet noir], tu peux le faire en num auto sans style grep ! Donc vraiment auto !

Ha là là!
It's just like Tantalus punishment...
You pretend to offer a delicious fully-automatic technique but when it comes to grabbing it, you just take it away from me...
So frustrating...
Seriously, how can you use IndyFont to reproduce OP's icons?
I still don't get it...
Cheers mate

No, it's better than that. It is a cross-platform program, and will work on both Windows and Mac.
Download from here: Indiscripts :: What's New in IndyFont 1.135
You can freely try the trial, but note that you can only make one character per font with this trial, so it limits what you can do. You can still create the separate characters needed to create your multi-colored characters (and, as usual for fonts, you must apply the color in InDesign itself), but it takes a bit more work with separate fonts.

Hi,
Or you could use Find/Change replace text with graphic.
