Issues with Adobe connect Integration with Successfactors

Hi,

We are in the process of integration with sucessfactors LMS. We have deployed the proxlet.war on a separate tomcat instace & have extracted the content.zip to the

the common directory.(not sure it causes the issues)

Whenever someone launches the course from successfactors, a blank browser window opens.

When I see the console for log, I get heaps of errors with invlaide character.

As I click on the errors I can see every js file is appended by

I tried the grand ADOBE Connect Support, but It's as busy as it can be 24/7.

Were you trying the general Adobe Support or the Adobe Connect Support? I've had very good luck with the Connect Support team. They can be reached via chat or phone here: Adobe Connect Help | Adobe Connect Support

They may be the best resource to help identify the issue.

Hey FlyingJ,

Thanks for your reply, I tried reaching the support first, when I showed them this , they said it's not in their scope (we have purchased platinum support lol), so I am on my own, with successfactors team being clueless about this, with a bit of trial and error I moved the content.zip to webapps folder of breeze, which resolved this issue, now at least I am able to launch the module from within successfactors, now the issue that the proxlet is not invoked, which is required to relay the results back. I am a java developer, so I can at least imagine what is going on under the hood.

You may try reaching out to eSyncTraining, eSyncTraining– Custom Pods & LMS LTI Integration-Adobe Connect, to see if they can provide any valuable support. They may be able to get you set up correctly.

Hi

Ok Now here's the update, after a lot of testing by SAP (as it was their baby to begin with), they said there's nothing wrong with the configuration, files and everything on their, so we decided to approach esynctraining, who redirected us to webqem, who is nothing but our installation and maintenance team.

And their reply was

Our integration partner eSyncTraining has reached out to us today as I understand you contacted them requesting help on SuccessFactors integration with Adobe Connect?

eSyncTraining have not currently built the integration piece with SAP however, this is on their roadmap for 2018.

SAP do have an integration and judging by your voicemail you have this working but it has issues.

Are you using their connector, or is this something you have build using the API’s?

  If it SAP’s integration then they would be responsible for making it work.

So now where should we ask for help. If no-one is capable of helping us what should be our next course of action.

And We cracked it, I had to add Javascript code in the wrapper to invoke the LMSInittialize, LMSSetValue and LMSCommit explictly.

Still not sure if that was the problem,

I will try to update this when we finish the next bit, which is SSO.

No SAP didn't help, I went through the code to figure out what was going on and what was missing. So just added the missing bit.
