Beginning two weeks ago, a master .psd file is constantly being corrupted. Sometimes I'm able to restore an earlier one, this problem is very time consuming and frustrating.
The file is used to create graphics, accompanying press releases or news stories.
Each individual graphic is composed of multiple layers, which are saved in a layer group.
I've been using this workflow for the past decade. The only changes to the workflow are occasional creation of a new master file at a different size and beginning about a year ago, increased use of the CC Libraries.
Below are screenshots of one of the error message + what the corrupt looks like when I'm able to open it.
Creative Cloud CC
Photoshop CC 2017.1.1
macOS Sierra 10.12.6
15.3 GB free space
The current corrupt file is 40mb.
Ideas anyone???
