AfterEffects CC 2017.2 - Can't run scripts via command line

I edit in VS Code and need to run my scripts via the Windows command line.

So I type:

"E:\ADOBE\Adobe After Effects CC 2017\Support Files\AfterFX.exe" -r "C:\Users\User\Documents\Adobe Scripts\example_script.jsx"

AfterEffects gets in the foreground and is for whatever reason resized but the script isn't called.

The script isn't called because if I put random characters in the script it doesn't give me an error.

If I run the script in AfterEffects (File - Scripts - Run Script File) it runs perfectly.

Here is almost the same thread with an answer to your question:

Thanks a lot! I didn't search for a *.bat file but this helps a lot!
