I´m trying to install Photoshop CS4 and inDesign CS4 on my iMac, but the serialnumbers are invalid for both the products it says.
The serialnumber isn´t invalid, I´ve got them from the Adobe support and use them at my work computer.
I´ve downloaded the swedish/norwegian/danish/finish version for InDesign, and the english version of Photoshop. (I don´t know which one I should use, Adobes support said I have norwegian language registered default for InDesign at least.)
I don´t know if the product is installed more than at my work computer, and the Adobe support can not see that either.
I appreciate help from someone who had the same problem.

from your description you have a mismatch:
again, common mismatches are language/region (eg, serial number is for western europe and installation file is eastern europe), platform (eg, serial number is for a mac and installation file is win), license type (eg, education vs enterprise vs individual).
and it's too late to get a serial number swap from adobe, Exchange a product for a different language or platform version

assuming you're using a valid adobe serial number (6 groups of 4 numbers), you have a mismatch between your installation file and serial number. ie, you can have a valid serial number, but if it's for program A and your installation file is for program B, you will see an invalid serial number message.
common mismatches are language/region (eg, serial number is for western europe and installation file is eastern europe), platform (eg, serial number is for a mac and installation file is win), license type (eg, education vs enterprise vs individual).
and one of the most common is using a program installation file with a suite's serial number. eg, using a cs6 suite serial number with a photoshop cs6 installation file. that won't work even though photoshop is included in that suite. you must use the suite's installation file (and you can choose to only install one program from the suite).
here's official info about that error, http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/error-serial-number-valid-product.html

Hi and thank you for answering.
I´ve read this before in another question, and I know I downloaded the right region/language for my program.
The second thing you describe, that I have to download the whole suite, is a bit unclear to me.
I downloaded Photoshop CS4 and InDesign CS4 from this link:
Download Adobe Creative Suite 4 (CS4) products
It was Adobe support which send me the link so I will assume it´s the correct files?
But I saw in my account that the serialnumbers and programs are default set to plattform Windows, and now I´ve installed it on an iMac. (Though the installationfile is for Mac) Could it be possible that I have to get a new serialnumber for Mac?
Really appreciate the help.
