    adobegcclient.exe thrashes my hard drive

Every time I reboot my computer, the first time I open an Adobe CC application this executable "adobegcclient.exe" thrashes my hard drive for about 5 minutes. The application I am trying to open may appear but it is totally unresponsive.

Looking at the hard drive activity in resource monitor shows that it is reading EXE and DLL files in all of the adobe product folders, not just the application I am trying to open.

Why doesn't adobegcclient.exe run when I start the computer instead of waiting for me to open an adobe CC application? This is seriously a huge annoyance as I might be on the phone with a client when my Adobe application locks up. Why do paying customers suffer the most with your DRM ********?
