LR will not import my photos

I'm having this same issue. However, I don't see a "destination tab" as the other user did to solve the issue. When I am able to find the folder for which I want to import the photos, the photos show grey and I am unable to select them.

If there is no destination tab you have selected 'Add' at the center top of the import dialog instead of copy.

If they photos are grayed out, they are already imported.

Post a screenshot and also post your (exact, not 'latest') version of LR as well as your OS and the type/source of the photos.

You may also want to open a new thread instead of re-using this old one that is marked as solved and therefoe will not get much attention.
