When I open my Text book for school, it sometime works and sometimes doesn't- I have un-installed Reader, re-installed, works fine for a few day, then "crashes" again- I can see the Adobe portion, just not the pages of the book. They are literally black. All other books and adobe pages for other things work fine. I have talked to technical support at school, disabled global java, nothing. I need to be able to read the book without Wifi...Thanks!

If this is happening when you're not connected to the internet then it's most likely due to DRM protection, which needs to contact a server to make sure you're allowed to view the file. There's no way around it.
