update has screwed photoshop 2017

Yesterday I updated Photoshop 2017 and camera raw and now photoshop says it cant recognise the type of image when I try to load images from my Nikon D810 thought bridge. Bridge shows the images but photoshop wont load them. Before I updated both photoshop and camera raw I had no problems

When you say you updated - was that to Photoshop 2018?  If so have you also updated Bridge to Bridge CC2018 ?
