AME preset help CS6

I know CS6 is old but I'm stuck for the moment.  I am trying to get Quicktime prores 422 to load in and work so I can get the best quality out of my AVCHD files.  I have gone online and used the tutorials but I am getting a warning dialog that says " Incompatible video codec found in preset. Preset did not load."  I loaded the presets into the AME and also the codecs into the Library, Quicktime folder.

Can someone walk me through cleaning things out and installing what will work?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Transcoding to prores wont give you the best quality only the originals will, but it will give you smoother editing.
