Compression of Photos to include in Documents and Websites

Please need help on how to Compress photos from ~3.4 MB to ~370 KB or less so they can be included in documents and websites.  Thank you.

What number of pixels doe you image have a 3.4MB jpeg file to me indicate the you have a Print Size image not one the has been resampled down in size for the web. I believe you need to do more then just lower the compression quality.
