as long as I remember that combo would crash.
Also with all previous shockwave versions I tested. I dont remember
which versions those were, but my first attempt must have been at
least 5 years ago.
The last time I tried was a few months ago, when I thought of it as a
last attempt to try to make something work.
Its obviously something you should not do.
Can you not just link the movie instead?
Thanks for the response. Unfortunately the applications in question require this type of functionality. I am not sure why it never worked for you but it should work with Shockwave 10.3.0.24 and several versions before that. (You can find the old Shockwave players at http://www.filehippo.com/download_shockwave/3732/). I believe it's an issue with how this version of Shockwave was constructed but I am not sure.
Hoping for a solution,
We are seeing a similar problem. There doesn't seem to be a work around. It looks like we are stuck waiting and hoping that a future version of Shockwave resolves this. Aside from that, we are looking at other engines to provide the same functionality.
