    flush left, not center

I've created a couple of tables with a "header" row at the top of each. The text in the cells is centered, as I've specified, but the top row (the "header" -- I inserted a row and merged the cells, which were coded for centered text) has the text flushed left instead -- the HTML code even indicates "text-align: center;" align=center>All Years</td>," so now what?
