Anyone experiencing errors when trying to adjust the leading using the character panel? Every time I try to adjust the leading using hotkeys or by manually typing in a number it automatically changes it to something else. For example, when I type in 24 pt and press Enter/Return I get 32.29 pt.
Please help! This is driving me mad!
Thanks,

There is a bug and it affects text that has previously been transformed. Adobe are aware and are working on it.
In the meantime there is a workaround:
a. Enter the leading value in the Properties panel.
b. When you hit enter the value in the properties panel box will change to something different (that is a bug) but will now show correctly in the Character panel
c. The value applied to the text will be the same as you entered and now shown in the character panel
Note : The workaround does not work backwards - you must enter in the properties box
