I'm trying to use the device orientation plugin but it looks like the plugin is not installed or something:
When I do an alert(navigator.compass), it display "undefined". To test this plugin, I create an Hello World project with the Desktop App of PhoneGap.
I use the Developer App with an iPhone, I don't know if it's important or not.
Thank you for your help.
Can someone help me?
The Device Orientation plugin has been deprecated (notice below). Although it should still work for you (make sure you wait for "deviceready"), I suggest using the W3C Device Orientation API instead.
Deprecation notice (from plugin docs): With the W3C Device Orientation API now being supported on iOS, Android and Windows devices, this plugin is not needed any more. Migrating from this plugin to the W3C Device Orientation API is explained in this PhoneGap blog post.
Thank you for your answer.
I used the W3C Device Orientation API but on my iPhone, it doesn't head to the true North, but the direction of the phone at the beginning.
