Hi Terrence H,
Could you please open Photoshop and go to Help > About Photoshop CC and let us know the exact version of Photoshop you're using?
Also, let us know about the operating system you're using.
Are your images located on the local drive of your computer or any external drive?
Hello thanks for the answer. the Update was to 2015.1.2 OSX Yosemite i have a SSD main drive with a 2gb storage drive built in .
But previously this did not present any obstacles
I have similar issue affecting CC2017 CC 2014 and CC2015
I am getting same error message "file not found" when trying to open a file
Same error on two Macs both running OS X 10.10.5 Yosemite (1 is SSD 1 is Fusion)
I can open Tif pdf png and psd but not jpg files. The files themselves appear ok some are very old and can be opened on an older Mac running CS6.
I found a previous post with similar errors last year the fix was to downgrade Camera RAW to 9.4, I'm thinking this may be related, currently installed Camera RAW 9.12.1 which I think was October update
Thanks for your input Glenn I am sure it should be a quick fix if only we knew what the exact issue is.
yes this worked for my Mac (SSD OSX10.10.5 Photoshop CC2017 and CC2014) I'll try the other mac later today.
Adobe Creative Cloud App is still telling me I have Camera Raw CC v9.12.1 and up to date ?
There is no need to update it if you are not using the latest version of Photoshop which is Photoshop CC 2018.
