Unable to open video files in PS cc 2018 though works fine in 2015

Running on

iMac running High Sierra

2.7 GHz Intel Core i5

Hi, I had the same problem, but found that if I reinstall ver 2015.5, the problem disappears. it seems to be a bug in the new 2018 CC version.

I know its a pain, but the difference on functionality is not that great, and you can have two versions installed on one machine, even my late 2011 Mac Air!

Thanks for sharing the system info, could you please let us know were you able to open video files in Photoshop before the update?
Also, what troubleshooting steps have you tried at your end?
