Some of the Intel built-in graphics adapters are not supported by Lightroom. I'm using an older HP desktop computer that has one of the Intel graphics adapters, no graphics card. It has been disabled. Consequently, I cannot use the slideshow in Lightroom Classic CC. I have to create a PDF slideshow, and that works just fine. Could you please check the driver date for your graphic card.

Check from the graphic card manufacturer's website if there are any new driver update available.

Also, you need to have at-least 1 GB of VRAM for GPU to work.

You can open the run window and type msinfo32 and check under Components>Display for VRAM info.

Regards,

Gautam

Hello,

Thank you for the reply.

I have the latest graphics driver from windows update and Microsoft  and intel do not recommend using a newer driver directly from Intel. Should I try that?

Here is a screen shot of my video card info from the msinfo32 program:

I could add a supported graphics card, but at this point I don't believe it would be worth it. I don't know enough about your computer to know if there is a graphics adapter available that would solve the problem. The main benefit of having a supported graphics adapter is for those who have high resolution monitors.
