I have restarted both the scanner and computer, but it is still happening.  I have Adobe X and when I click the SCAN button, it does as instructed, but as soon as it is finished, it pops up scanning cancelled.

Hello Heatherorosedale,

As per the description above, the Scanner cancels scan after scanning a PDF file, Is that correct?

You may refer and try the troubleshooting steps from the following KB docs Troubleshooting tips for scanner issues when using Acrobat  Link: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/troubleshoot-scanner-issues-acrobat.html

https://acrobatusers.com/forum/general-acrobat-topics/acrobat-x-pro-scanner-issues/

You may check for the latest driver of Scanner. Check for any pending updates of Acrobat 10 from Help>Check for updates.

Note: The Acrobat 10 is an End of Life and support Product, and the support of the product is limited. For more information refer to End of support for Acrobat X and Reader X Link: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/end-of-support-acrobat-x-reader-x.html

Hope this helps, and let us know how it goes.

Regards,

Anand Sri.
