Image fragmenting issues 2018 Illustrator update

Has anyone else experienced fragmenting/display issues (see the angular shapes in what should be solids below) after updating to Ai 2018? I'm experiencing it with every file I open or create new. I've reset preferences, and un-installed/re-installed several times to no avail. I've got a ton of vector work to do, help!

What OS?

Try Command E to toggle out of GPU preview, into CPU preview.

We are hoping to see some video card updates in the near future as Nvidia and Adobe  recently talked and identified an issue with outline view being very slow that is related to GPU preview issues
