Why am i getting the same black background on all my new projects since I added the black background to the first project?

How do I start clear, with a completely blank composition?

Even when I click on the tutorials, i cant see the Tutorial layers due to the black layer(background)

Hi there,

Try to exit the app completely and start a new project, it will apply it to a blank layer and you can resize the image as per your requirements.
