There is no upgrade. Both versions are independent and can be on the same computer. In other words, PSE18 will not overwrite PSE14. If you purchase 18 from Adobe you may get a discount as a registered prior owner of the software. "UPGRADE" refers to marketing, i.e. getting you to buy!!
