Adobe XD 2.0 is now available for download and install through your Creative Cloud desktop application. To verify your build after install, select Help > About, or Adobe XD > About and verify that the build number is 2.0.

Here’s a quick summary of all that’s new with this release:
Design Specs - Beta: You can now upload your designs as a Design Spec, which will allow your developer to get an overview of the UX flow, and also view color values, character styles, and measurements for the objects on each artboard. Note: Developers will need an Adobe ID to access the shared file.
Layout Grids: Turn on Layout Grids on your artboards to enable vertical columns. You can adjust the number of columns, column width, gutter width, and margins from the property inspector when an artboard is selected.
Switch between point area and text: You can now switch between point and area text by clicking a button in the property inspector.
Export JPEG: You can now export assets in the JPEG format.
Pan and zoom with touch (Windows only): Pan and zoom on canvas using the touch screen
