    Nearest neighbour image interpolation in 3D textures


      I'm trying to create some low-poly models (in Maya LT) and texture them with a pixel art style in Photoshop.


      Unfortunately, when the texture is applied it is scaled up and the texture becomes blurry. I know you can fix this in normal pixel art by setting image interpolation in Photoshop's preferences to nearest neighbour, but this has no effect on the 3D texture.

      How can I fix this so the texture stays crisp?
