What format are you exporting them? You should use JPEG, not GIF.
They're all .jpgs.
You can go to www.snapitpics.com and click on Photo Gallery and view the slideshows to see what I'm talking about. The original images in these slideshows were upwards of 3MB each, taken by a professional photographer and VERY clear. Since this is his website, it's imperative that the images are as crisp as possible to showcase his talent.
Ahhh, it's distorted because the photo gallery is resizing the photos (making them bigger). I've never used that photo gallery application before so I can't offer any kind of advice to correct this, but you need to get larger images in there some way or another.

I'd also consider skipping the step where you click the gallery name, then have to click again on another page to launch the gallery - what's the point of that?
