The color SVG fonts are not supported in InDesign CC 2018 yet. Ask in the Photoshop or Illustrator forums where they are now supported.

Note that these OpenType “color” SVG fonts can be recognized by InDesign and other applications that don't support the SVG aspect of said fonts, these fonts also include standard outlines such that they may be used as regular fonts, i.e., no colors or other special effects.

Furthermore, the SVG features of these fonts are not supported by the PDF imaging model and as such, use of them in Illustrator, for example, yields type without the color feature.

Treat this as well as the Illustrator “Variable Fonts” as experimental technology right now. It isn't really ready for prime time production.

Hi,

If you have those fonts installed in your system you should be seeing them in InDesign.

Which font are you looking for? Did you check TypeKit?

While the fonts are not ”fully” supported in InDesign you can check if they work out fine for your case

The trick is finding the fonts. They are hidden inside Illustrator CC 2018 but you have to poke around to extract them and put them in a standard OS font location, and they do seem to work in InDesign CC 2018.
