Playing a song backwards

I am trying to cut a clip of audio at 1 point, delete everything to the right, copy everything to the left, paste what I copied and then play the copy in reverse of the original.  When I go to speed/duration and choose reverse speed, it does play it backwards but the audio has that rewind/noise to it.  Is there a way to play it in reverse but make it sound normal?

Have you rendered the speed reversed clip on the timeline?
