I noticed an issue after upgrading Adobe Reader DC from version 17.009.20044 to 18.008.20044 we are experiencing extreme slowness when opening PDF documents in OWA.  It takes an average of 30 seconds to open.  I have changed several settings in Adobe preferences and disabled enhanced security.  No change to the amount of time it takes for the file to open.  If we use outlook instead of OWA we do not experience any issues.  If I roll back to 17.009.20044 we do not experience any issues.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  I don't want to be a version behind due to security reasons.

I have discovered disabling the Adobe PDF add on  in IE 11 has resolved the slowness and unresponsiveness of opening a pdf in OWA.  You don't get the nice preview but I will sacrifice that for speed.  This was on a Server 2008 R2 Remote Desktop server farm.  Hopefully this will help someone else in the future.
