Mac Photoshop CS6 v13.0 vs. v13.0.6

I have them both running on Mac OS10.11.6. The 13.0 (runs on a Mac Pro desktop circa early 2009) has a light grey background and the 13.0.6 (runs on a Mac Pro laptop circa late 2011) has a dark grey background. The 13.0 is not displaying histograms correctly for greyscale images (all clipped at the top). I presume this is a bug in v13.0 (I see no way to rescale the histogram) and would like to at least try updating it to v13.0.6. How do I do that?

Thanks for any suggestions, sorry for the naive question.

You can use Help>Updates in photoshop or if that doesn't work you can get the 13.0.6 update from here:
