Every time I attempt to open a file with Photoshop (whether it is a JPEG, PSD, PNG - you name it), the program starts, but it always displays as a big grey square.
The PSD files show all of the layers intact, but I can't seem to view the file itself. I have tried everything I can think of.
Please help - I'm using the most current version of Photoshop (Adobe Photoshop CC 2018)!
Try turning off GPU performance in the preferences.
I'm not seeing GPU performance anywhere in the preferences menu - where would I go specifically to locate it?
1. Press Ctrl+k
2. Now you can see the preference window
3. Click the performance menu
4. Now you can see the " Use Graphic Processor " radio option from the right side of the panel (Under graphics processor setting) .
