how do I connect this scanner to be used with Acrobat XI?   Acrobat does not seem to find the driver.

There is no driver. Fujitsu designed it that way. Scan with the software included with the ScanSnap. This can be used to Scan-to-PDF, then you can open in Acrobat for any further processing.

not exactly. . . once in a file, in ENHANCE to add a page - it still won't recognize the scanner because of the absence of the TWAIN connection.
