I am having a similar issue. I set the sidelet to remain for 10 seconds so the user would have enough time to read all of the text before continuing. However, the text only stays visible for a few seconds. If I click on the sidelet image again, I can get another few seconds but I would like for it to remain until the user clicks the continue button.
Any suggestions on what I might be doing wrong?

Please follow following steps:
1. Insert the rollover slidelet. Set the slidelet time to say 10 seconds.
2. Double click the rollover area.
3. In the properties dialog, under Rollover Slidelet tab, select the "Stick Slidelet" radio button.
4. Now preview/publish the project.
5. CLICK THE ROLLOVER AREA. then the slidelet would stick up there for 10 seconds.

Hi there
I see your attachment failed to become attached.
However, I'm wondering if you are seeing (or possibly misunderstanding) a basic feature of the Slidelet.
Think of the name. Slidelet. Kind of implies a "Mini-slilde" no?
The Slidelet has its own timeline that behaves pretty much identical to the main Slide Timeline. If you insert a Caption on the main timeline it is often timed for 3 seconds. My thought here is that perhaps you are expecting that just because you inserted a Caption in the Slidelet, it will display for however long the slidelet appears. And that doesn't happen. You need to configure the caption specifically.
As it would appear that you want the caption to appear for whatever time the slidelet appears, it would seem that the best approach would be to configure the Text Caption inside the Slidelet for "Rest of Slide" on the timing. To do that easily just click it and press Ctrl+E.
See if that causes it to now behave as you want.
Cheers... Rick

Hmm..
I have changed the time to appear for the rest of the slide. The slide
runs fine and the graphic I have remains but the rollover portion does not
stay visible for the entire time. Here are some screenshots of what I am
doing.

Hi there
If you like, email them to me. rstone75 (at) kc (dot) rr (dot) com
Or if you want, I can spend five minutes or so with you virtually looking over your shoulder to coach you along. Either way it will require an E-Mail message to me. If you want the virtual over the shoulder thing, include your phone number so I may call and converse in real time.
