PhoneGap App on Android Content Security Policy

My PhoneGap Desktop is serving an app to by PC browser and this has been accessible from my Android phone using the PhoneGap app for months without error.

Suddenly today, my app cannot access cloud resources on the Android phone.

Analysis of the console reveals dozens of messages:

      undefined Content Security Policy has been modified to be: <meta http-equiv="Content-Security-Policy" content="default-src * gap: ws: https://ssl.gstatic.com;style-src 'self' 'unsafe-inline' data: blob:;script-src 'self' 'unsafe-inline' 'unsafe-eval' * data: blob:;img-src * 'self' data: content:;">

I have made no changes to config.xml or index.html so am puzzled as to why this is exhibiting this behaviour. I re-installed PhoneGap on the phone but to no avail.

      Can you help please?
