Cannot Find or Create the Font

About 2-3 weeks ago we started noticing that changes made to a PDF are not saving properly.   Below are the two error messages:

“An error exists on this page.   Acrobat may not display the page correctly.   Please contact the person who created the PDF document to correct the problem.”

“Cannot find or create the font ‘IWLMBS+CourierNewPSMT’.  Some characters may not display or print correctly.”

Is this due to an Adobe update? Our system outputs all pdfs in this font so is there a way to solve this without changing our font preset so that we will be able to edit/add text to our forms and be able to save it?
